Happy 2010 From Kevin and Ratree in Thailand

2010 marks the 9th straight year my wife Ratree and I have split our time between Thailand and Santa Cruz, CA. 2009 was a year of more ups than downs for which we are thankful. Here we are in Ban Krut province on the day after Christmas about to have dinner on the beach at a restaurant called The Beach.

Keng with his girlfriend Sii and Kwang with her boyfriend O came along for the post-Christmas trip. No internet, no TV, no cell phones for three days - like the old days.

My Christmas gift to Ratree - a montage of our cross country road trip in the summer of 2009 from Santa Cruz to Key West, Florida and a visit to Yellowstone on the return trip.

It's not always easy splitting our time between two countries but it is rewarding. Here is Kwang, me, Ratree and Keng.

Ratree had to work hard when we were first married so it was nice to have her not work this year and have her take Art and English classes at Cabrillo College this year and relax a little more.
